Phil Arnold Retiring

Phil Arnold is a long time supporter of the Texas Rollergirls and roller derby in general. He writes roller derby articles for the Examiner, and travels to do announcing all over Texas. We are sad to see that he is retiring from his derby work, but happy to say that he will still be attending bouts throughout the season, only he’ll be doing it purely as a fan! Thanks for everything you’ve done, Phil, for us and for derby. We’ll see you trackside.

Thanks ya’ll! So many wonderful memories, like Bumperbout in Seattle with the Texecutioners won, and a noted pivot for Texas came off the track and yelled, “Phil” in Key Arena. And that photo above was in Houston when Texas won the Western Regionals, and I was in a very happy mood!
