Local bike company Fairdale were kind enough to donate one of their beautiful Weekender bikes to the Texecutioners to raffle off at the Star of Texas Bowl. The raffle will help the team pay for their upcoming trips to play Rat City and the Oly Rollers, and to make it to WFTDA Regionals Lincoln, NE and Champs in Atlanta, GA. Thanks, Fairdale, and thank YOU all for supporting the Texecutioners with this raffle.

A couple of our Derby Brats helped out by drawing the winning name.

The winner wasn’t present at the time of the drawing, but his very excited friend was and she texted him the good news. We hear the same face was pulled on the other end of the ‘phone line!

Then Demanda Riot of the Bay Area Derby Girls, also a friend of the winner, decided to attempt to wrestle the prize away from DeBella DeBall. Good fun! (No photos, but Demanda was later spotted dragging the bike AND the table it was locked to across the Convention Center when we were cleaning up after the tournament!)
