Age Requirements • Skaters are required to be between the ages of 8 and 17 by September 9, 2010 • During most practice activities, skaters are grouped by skill, size, and age to ensure that similar skaters practice together. Practice & Scrimmage Information • Skaters must wear ALL protective equipment when participating in practices and scrimmages: knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouth guard. • Practices are on Sundays at 12:30 to 2 pm at Austin Sports Arena (ASA) (links to:) and Thursdays at 6:30 to 8 pm at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex (MYEC), except as noted on the practice schedule Registration Fee and Insurance Coverage • Registration deadline is September 19, 2010. (links to ) • Registration fee for each skater is $130.00. • The registration fee covers 12 weeks of practices, 3 scrimmages, and one Austin Derby Brats t-shirt to be used as uniform top during scrimmages. • The cost of equipment is not included in the registration fee. • There are no refunds. • Each skater is encouraged strongly to have primary insurance Questions? austinderbybrats@txrollergirls.com photo by Steve DeMent |
