Hobbies? When I have the time for hobbies other than derby – hiking, kayaking, camping, TRAVELING!

How did you get into derby? In January 2004 I had a very Whip It-esque moment that involved Smarty Pants. About a year after that I caught word of roller derby starting up in Houston. I went to my first practice in January 2005, and it was then that I became a founding member of Houston Roller Derby. I skated with HRD for almost four years before moving to Austin in late 2008.
Favorite food? Bacon & cupcakes. Bacon cupcakes?! YES, PLEASE!
Favorite roller derby player? The OGs will always be my favorites. Sparkle Plenty, Buckshot Betsy, Smarty Pants, Bloody Mary, Dinah-mite…just to name a few
Who inspires you? My Granddaddy
What are you most thankful for in your life? The love in my life.
How did you pick your derby name? I used to be a bartender…I took a poll.
How has roller derby impacted your life? In so many ways I wouldn’t even know where to begin. I ♥ ROLLER DERBY.
What’s the hardest part of being a rollergirl? Finding time for anything other than being a rollergirl.
