Martial status? I am married to the Heartbreakers…who has time to date??
Occupation? I am a mixologist–I loooove fancy cocktails!
Who is your favorite band/musician/group? I am obsessed with and addicted to Mayer Hawthorne. Google him, you will be too.
Drink of choice at a bar? I am a total liquor snob. I’ll shoot a good añejo tequila, please. Bees Knees is my choice cocktail these days, but if I’m at a dive, gimme a Makers press.
Hobbies? I spend my spare time preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Other sports you have played? I am actually a classically trained ballerina. I also grew up doing tap, jazz, and lyrical. For a good time, buy me a few drinks and hand me my tap shoes.
How did you get into derby? I always liked roller skating as a kid, and had just discovered Playland’s Adult Night when I met the lovely and talented Babe Ruthless. She took me to a rec league bout, and the rest (as they say) is derby history.
Favorite food? Well, I hate to brag (lie) but I’m a pretty badass cook. My favorite dishes are my shiitake mushroom risotto, eggplant parmesan, and spinach/olive lasagna. Mmmmmmm…
Favorite roller derby player? My derby heroes are women whose skating styles I attempt to emulate on the track. Sarah Hipel, Molotov M. Pale, Shortcut, Rita Menweep, Luce Bandit, Rice Rocket, Suzy Hotrod, Bonnie Thunders…
Who inspires you? My Grandfather: he was generous, creative, and patient. I strive to be more like him.
How/why did you pick your derby name? Well, I may not be very big, but I make up for it with plenty of nasty. I’m pretty twisted… like Human Centipede sick…
How has roller derby impacted your life? Roller derby IS my life. I would be lost without it!
You play several positions, which one is your favorite & why? I would really like to master this thing called “jamming.” It takes endurance, patience, and an understanding of the game. I’ll get there, don’t you worry!
