Derby takes up too much of my life to even think of having another hobby.

When did you start skating?
I spent every Friday night of my middle school years at our local skating rink. I found derby when a friend asked me to help with a start-up league, the Spindletop Rollergirls (www.spindletoprollergirls.com) in Beaumont, TX. It took very little time to realize that this was something I needed in my life.

Favorite roller derby player?
I love to watch a Belle Starr stalk a jammer.

Who inspires you?
Future me. Everything I do is to ensure that she ends up happy and healthy.

What’s the hardest part of being a rollergirl?
Imagine yourself going to your second job, buying all of your own supplies and getting knocked around by your co-workers…without getting paid.

SHOTS!

Would you like to brag about your skates?
I love my skates! The boots are Riedell 195s with PowerDyne Reactor plates.

Which one of your tattoos is your favorite (or most meaningful), what is it and why?
I love all of my tattoos! None of them mean anything special, I think they’re pretty and wanted to decorate myself.
